Blue Economy Professionls

The founding members of the Blue Economy Professionals, in recognition of the growing importance of the Blue Economy as a driver of sustainable development, economic growth, and environmental conservation hereby announce our presence.

The establishment of the Blue Economy Professionals arises from the urgent need to address the evolving challenges and opportunities within the Blue Economy sectors, and to provide a structured platform for advancing professionalism, ethical standards, and innovation in the sustainable management of global marine and freshwater resources.

Warm regards!

Blue Economy World

The Blue Economy World Organization (BEWO) traces its origins to the evolving role of the Chamber of African Blue Economy (CABE), an organization that brought together stakeholders across Africa to explore sustainable development in maritime and ocean-based industries. Established to address the economic potential of Africa’s Ocean resources while prioritizing sustainability and social equity, CABE has been instrumental in building awareness, fostering innovation, and advocating for policies that support sustainable growth within the Blue Economy

As CABE’s influence expanded, so did its recognition of the interconnectedness of global ocean economies. While initially focused on African nations, CABE observed the need for a broader, more inclusive platform that would facilitate collaboration across borders, support transnational policy initiatives, and address global challenges in marine and coastal sustainability. This realization came as CABE began establishing strategic partnerships with regional Blue Economy entities, government bodies, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) worldwide.

Warm regards!

Threads of Heritage

The Threads of Heritage project aims to showcase Ghanaian culture, art, and craftsmanship in U.S.A through a unique, large-scale fashion event. This initiative will bring talented Ghanaian designers, artisans, and production teams to U.S.A to display traditional and contemporary apparel and accessories rooted in Ghana's rich cultural heritage. Alongside the showcase, a team of Ghanaian producers will fulfil pre-arranged orders and create a steady supply for U.S.A’s black market and interested buyers, staying in U.S.A to facilitate production for large-scale and small-scale orders. Additionally, a series of mini-events will provide platforms for networking, investment promotion, and fundraising in support of local community development initiatives in Ghana.

Objectives

1. Cultural Exchange and Showcasing Heritage: To celebrate and share Ghanaian culture through a diverse range of apparel and accessories, creating a unique cultural exchange platform between Ghana and U.S.A.

2. Market Penetration and Production Scaling: To enter the U.S.A market with authentic Ghanaian fashion items, with a local team of producers meeting demand through on-site production and fulfilling pre-placed orders for wholesalers and individual buyers.

3. Community Development: To raise funds and awareness for community projects in Ghana, focusing on sustainable development and empowerment in local communities.

4. Networking and Investment: To attract U.S.A investors, designers, and buyers by hosting mini-events that foster collaborations, business discussions, and market insights.

Warm regards!
